System failure

My car is in the shop.

The reason is because the built-in anti-theft system, which cuts off the supply of fuel to the engine when it detects "tampering" with the ignition is getting triggered somehow on rare ocassions when I try to start the car up, the normal way, using my normal key.

This is very frustrating.

Like anyone would actually want to steal my piece-of-crap car anyway.

(by the way, did I mention my car is just a few weeks out of warranty?)

The very system that is supposed to protect my car is instead just inconveniencing me and costing me money.

Kind of like bad copy protection on software. Or Windows.
