U-Verse vs Sunflower: Full-Out Geek Brawl

  • Well Mike, I'm curious to see how this goes. In the past, you and Dave have always been antagonistic toward Sunflower (as shown here I look forward to reading your "unbiased" review when the time comes.

    My experiance with AT&T was so poor that I've sworn off all of their products and services for life.

  • Amy, I don't think Dave or I have ever been overly antagonistic towards Sunflower Broadband. We've criticized the company for some poor customer service we've received in the past, and like many people, we are not fans of the internet caps -- but I think you guys have done a great job addressing those issues, with new initiatives like the Twitter presence, and I have heard rumors you will be adjusting up the bandwidth caps as well, which shows you listen to your customers.

    I think having a local provider like Sunflower is an asset to the community, and I encourage you (if you are affiliated with Sunflower at all) to take criticism in stride as an opportunity to continue to improve -- it could be way worse...have you done a search for what people say online about Comcast :-)

    I plan to be fair in my writing, and talk about both the strengths and weaknesses of both companies' offerings...please head over to and let me know what you think of the TV preview.
