One dead scumbag

This is excellent news.

I don't care where you stand on the war or similar issues, this guy was a monster. The US unfortunately missed many earlier chances to kill him, including one prior to the Iraq war's beginning. But, finally, Zarqawi is dead. I don't think his death will be any kind of a magic turning point for Iraq or the world, but it was a turning point for Zarqawi (as in "he was turned inside-out"), and that's all that really matters right now.
