Up next, frogs and locusts

I've lived in the midwest for my entire life and never seen so much severe weather then I have this year. A month ago, we had a severe microburst and last night, we got an enormous hailstorm, with some hailstones the as big as tennis balls. It is quite freaky watching -- and listening -- to thousands of those things pelting the area...the clatter was unbelievable, like something out of a movie. Luckily, our roof appears fine, and neither my car nor Dave's car got any broken windows, although the hood of my car has more craters then the moon. Our next door neighbors were not so lucky, their car's rear window was caved in by a big stone.

At least we don't have to worry about earthquakes and hurricanes!

FYI, I didn't bother taking any pictures of the stones, but someone else did.
